TERMS AND CONDITIONS LIABILITY AGREEMENT

Please read this document carefully. By signing below, you agree to be legally bound by this agreement between you, Heather Vickery, facilitator and leader of the retreat, and Vickery and Co. This contract concerns the following retreat: Reclaim Your Peace, Costa Rica, January 20–26, 2026 (hereinafter “Retreat”).
1. PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
Legal name and address are listed above. Additional health/history details will be completed in the registration form as needed.
2. HEALTH DISCLOSURE
Disclose any physical/mental conditions (e.g., injuries, allergies, medications, PTSD) in your registration form. Alert facilitators of concerns during activities.
3. DEFINITIONS
"Facilitator" = Heather Vickery and any contracted staff.
"Participant" = Attendee of the Retreat.
"Retreat" = Includes workshops, excursions, movement practices, and group activities.
(Other definitions remain unchanged unless you’d like adjustments.)
4. RESERVATION & PAYMENT
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot.
Full Payment: Due 120 days before the Retreat (by September 22, 2025).
Payment Method: Credit card or check payable to Vickery and Co.
5. CANCELLATION POLICY
No refunds will be issued for cancellations. However, you may transfer your registration to another person with prior notice and approval from the Facilitator.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen emergencies. You are free to use any provider, but we suggest exploring options at: https://www.travelinsured.com/


6. FACILITATOR CANCELLATIONS
Force Majeure: No refunds for cancellations due to natural disasters, pandemics, or travel advisories. Travel insurance is encouraged.
Low Enrollment: If for any reason the retreat is canceled or postponed by the Facilitator your payments may be applied to a future retreat of your choice. If it is canceled by the host facility and funds are returned to the Facilitator you will receive a full refund. Again, travel insurance is strongly encouraged in case of unforeseen and uncontrollable situations.
7. TRAVEL
Participants must book their own flights and if you obtain travel insurance covering illness, cancellation, and emergencies please email proof to heather@vickeryandco.com at least two weeks before the event.
8. LIABILITY WAIVER
Participant assumes all risks for injuries, illnesses, or damages during the Retreat and releases Heather Vickery and Vickery and Co. from liability, except in cases of gross negligence.
